Location

Upon the opening of the San Diego Trolley service in 1981, this station on C Street, between Sixth Avenue and Fifth Avenue, was originally named the Gaslamp North station or the Centre City station. In 1986, the station was permanently renamed the Fifth Avenue Station.

This station was closed on December 17, 2012,[6] for renovations as part of the Trolley Renewal Project.[7] It was reopened by June 2013,[5] and is now back to normal operations.
