Gene Pelowski

Gene P. Pelowski, Jr. (born February 1952) is Minnesota politician and member of the Minnesota House of Representatives. A member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL), he represents District 28A, which includes Winona County in southeastern Minnesota. He was also a teacher at Winona Senior High School in Winona.[1]

Minnesota House of Representatives

Pelowski was first elected in 1986, and has been re-elected every two years since. He represented the old District 34B prior to 1992 legislative redistricting, and the old District 32A prior to the 2002 legislative redistricting. He was most recently re-elected in 2018.[1][2]

He was an assistant majority leader during the 2003-2004 session.[3] He was honored at the Polish Consulate during a visit to the Polish museum in Winona in 2013.[4]
