“Gheorghe Dima” Music Academy is a doctoral studies organizing institution (D.S.O.I), including in its structure the Sigismund Toduță Doctoral School. The unit organizes and runs doctoral programs of a scientific and professional type, conferring the title of Doctor in Music.

Undergraduate (BA) study programs organized through Distance Learning are accredited to function on the basis of Governmental Decree 158/29.03.2018. Curricula are approved by the Music Academy's Senate and the National Ministry of Education, being identical, in terms of structure and number of credits, to the GDMA's undergraduate study programs.
