HD 44219
HD 44219 is an 8th magnitude G-type main sequence star located approximately 164 light years away in the constellation Monoceros. This star is larger, cooler, brighter, and about the same mass as our Sun. Also its metal content is one-fifteenth more than the Sun. In 2009, a gas giant planet was found in orbit around the star.[3]
