While serving under Cao Cao, Han Hao contributed greatly to the tuntian policy implemented by Cao's administration which greatly improved food production for military use. Chen Shou, the author of the Records of the Three Kingdoms, commented that Han Hao was a courageous and loyal man who remained collected in any situation.
