Helicolenus hilgendorfii
Helicolenus hilgendorfii is one of ten species of rockfishes in the genus Helicolenus. Known commonly as Hilgendorf's saucord, this fish is found in the Northwest Pacific as far as Japan, where it is known as "nodoguro" (ノドグロ) and southern Korea to the East China Sea.[1] It reaches a maximum length of 27 cm.[1]

This species is viviparous.[1]
