Hereward Highway

Hereward Highway, located in Blacktown, Sydney, is an Australian suburban thoroughfare that has been unofficially recognised as being the shortest highway in the world. At 0.6 kilometres long, it is 0.8 kilometres shorter than the closest contender, Chandler Highway, located in Southbank, Melbourne.[1][2]

The highway is one of the many boulevards in the Western suburbs of Sydney, locally regarded for their quietude, well-manicured lawns and diverse community. Dr Dai, a local resident and popular Ramen Chef, stated that he is happiest when "strolling along his favourite highway at a prudent pace."[2]
