Horseshoe Lagoon, Queensland

Horseshoe Lagoon is a rural locality in the Shire of Burdekin, Queensland, Australia.[2] In the 2016 census, Horseshoe Lagoon had a population of 217 people.[1]

History

The locality was named and bounded on 23 February 2001.[2] It is presumably named after the small lagoon in the west of the locality, which is locally known as Horseshoe Lagoon (now protected within the Horseshoe Lagoon Conservation Park).[3][4]
