Plot summary
After finding a freshwater pink dolphin on a beach in Rio de Janeiro, detective Eric (Marco Pigossi) from the Environmental Police Station becomes involved in a murder investigation and discovers a world inhabited by mythical entities usually unnoticed by humans.[3] As the story develops, Eric investigates mysterious deaths that mirror that of his own wife, Gabriela. Eric encounters entities with apparent magical powers, and discovers that he himself is a half-entity, being born of the river dolphin spirit named Manaus (the same one he found dead in the very first episode). Eric and his newfound compatriots find that a "Dry Body" — the escaped spirit of a dead anti-environmentalist evildoer which had once been banished — has inhabited the body of his daughter, Luna, and is killing forest entities out of revenge. The Dry Body is also responsible for the death of his wife. To save his daughter, Eric sucks the Dry Body out of his possesed daughter and into himself, then goes on an attempted killing spree. However, he manages to commit suicide (killing the Dry Body) before the evil spirit within him manages to kill anyone else. In the final scene, Eric is revived by his mermaid friend, Camila, at which point it is heavily implied he has been reborn as a full entity himself.
