Irganox 1098

Irganox 1098 is the trade name for N,N'-1,6-hexanediylbis[3,5-bis(1,1-dimethylethyl)-4-hydroxyphenylpropanamide], a primary antioxidant manufactured by BASF primarily used for stabilizing polymers, especially polyamides.[1][2] It is noted for its thermal stability as well as its non-discoloring properties.
