Jean-Christian-Michel
Jean-Christian Michel is a French composer and clarinetist, born in 1938, a great precursor in the rapprochement of jazz and classical music. His compositions are influenced by contemporary sophisticated jazz with spatial echos, and by the Baroque music particularly that of Johann Sebastian Bach.

Michel is also a very experienced mountain climber. He was a member of the group that made the first-ever ascent of Tawesche, in the Himalayas, in 1974.[9]
