History

KNKC-LD's application dates back to 2011 under the call sign K29KC-D. The station changed to their current call sign of KNKC-LD in 2013. It went on the air by January 2014.

Estrella TV is the station's primary affiliation on their main channel on 29.1. 29.2 carries Doctor TV, a healthy lifestyle network. In 2015, a third subchannel was launched to carry the Sonlife Broadcasting Network. In December 2015, GetTV replaced DrTV on the second subchannel.
