Kageki Shoujo!

Kageki Shoujo! (かげきしょうじょ!, Kageki Shōjo!) is a Japanese manga series by Kumiko Saiki. It was serialized in Shueisha's seinen manga magazine Jump Kai from 2012 to 2014 and was collected in two tankōbon volumes. A sequel manga by Saiki titled Kageki Shoujo!! (かげきしょうじょ!!) has been serialized in Hakusensha's shōjo manga magazine Melody since 2015. It has been collected in ten tankōbon volumes. A reprinted version of the original series titled Kageki Shoujo!! Season Zero (かげきしょうじょ!! シーズンゼロ, Kageki Shoujo!! Shīzun Zero) was published by Hakusensha in a single tankōbon volume in March 2019. The reprinted version and the sequel are licensed in North America by Seven Seas Entertainment. An anime television series adaptation by Pine Jam is scheduled to air in 2021.

It was later re-released in 2019 under the title Kageki Shoujo!! Season Zero by Hakusensha as an omnibus volume. The re-release has been licensed in North America by Seven Seas Entertainment, who released it under the title Kageki Shoujo!! The Curtain Rises.[1]

A sequel series titled Kageki Shoujo!! began serialization in Hakusensha's Melody magazine in 2015. The series has been collected in ten tankōbon volumes. The sequel series has also been licensed by Seven Seas in North America.[2]

Anime

An anime television series adaptation titled Kageki Shoujo!! was announced in the December issue of Melody magazine on October 28, 2020.[3] The series is animated by Pine Jam and directed by Kazuhiro Yoneda, with Tadashi Morishita handling series' composition, Takahiro Kishida designing the characters, and Tsuneyoshi Saito composing the series' music. It will premiere in 2021.[4]
