Karachi School of Business & Leadership

The Karachi School of Business and Leadership (KSBL) (Urdu: دانشکدہِ کراچی برائے علومِ بزنس و قوتِ رہنمائی‎) is an independent graduate business school located in Karachi, Pakistan.[3] Established through a strategic collaboration between Karachi Education Initiative (KEI) and the Cambridge Judge Business School, the school was established in 2009.[4]

History

Cambridge Judge acts as the school's strategic partner, and was tasked to establish faculty recruitment, faculty planning and development, designing of curriculum. The school was awarded university charter in December 2012 by Sindh Government, and as of 2016, enrolls over 100 students in its regular MBA programme.[5][6][7] The executive education classes, that were launched in May 2010 are taught by teachers from Cambridge University.[8][9]

Campus

KSBL operates two campuses, both designed by William McDonough Partners. The newer campus is located in outskirts of Karachi, while KSBL's 3-acre city campus consists of 112,000 square feet of covered area and is designed to accommodate up to 325 students. It opened in 2013.[10][11] On 16 December 2018, Engro Leadership Academy (ELA) was launched at Karachi School of Business & Leadership. The Engro Leadership Academy endeavours to serve as the developing ground for the next generation of Pakistani leadership. Its aim will be to prepare 21st century leaders through a proven model of development led by world-class consulting firm McKinsey & Company, which has helped bring the Academy to fruition.
