Early life

Gilmore Richardson grew up in Philadelphia and attended school at Julia R. Masterman and Philadelphia High School for Girls. She received her undergraduate degree from West Chester University and spent two years teaching at Overbrook High School.[1]

Career

In 2008 she began working as a City Council staff member in the office of Blondell Reynolds Brown.[2] She worked this office for 11 years,[3] in every position in the city council office[4] before deciding to run for City Council herself in 2019.
