Kickboxing career

ACCEL Featherweight title reign

Haraguchi made his professional debut against Shiro Kajihara at ABW 10th in June 2017. He won the fight by a third-round TKO. In his next fight, at ACCEL vol.37, Haraguchi fought Fumihiro Uesugi for the ACCEL Featherweight title. He defeated Uesugi by TKO, knocking his opponent down three times in the second round.[2]

At RISE 121, Haraguchi was scheduled to fight Taiki Naito in a 57kg tournament quarterfinal. He lost to the eventual tournament winner by unanimous decision, after an extra round was fought.[3]

Haraguchi defended his ACCEL title with a unanimous decision win against Shogo Kuriaki at ACCEL vol.38.[4] He would notch stoppage wins over Jun Aiolos and Henry Cejas, before taking part in the Road to RIZIN Tournament held at RISE 125. In the semifinals he defeated Momotaro by unanimous decision, and beat Shuto Miyazaki in the same manner in the tournament finals.[5]

He fought Chibita at ACCEL vol.40 in his second title defense.[6] He won the fight by knockout, stopping Chibita with a body kick mid-way through the first round.[7] His second title defense was followed up with the highest profile fight of Haraguchi's career up to that point, as he was scheduled to fight the K-1 Super Featherweight champion Taiga Kawabe.[8] The fight ended in a draw.[9]

RISE Lightweight title reign

In March 2019, Haraguchi fought Miguel Martinez, winning by a third-round body shot knockout.[10] He would go on to win his next four fights, including a decision win against Chan Hyung Lee[11] and a TKO win against Yosuke Morii.[12]

At RISE 136, Haraguchi fought Hideki for the vacant RISE Lightweight title. He won the fight by a first-round knockout, stopping Hideki with a left hook.[13]

Following two victories over Vitor Tofanelli and Taiga Kawabe, Haraguchi participated in the 2020 RISE DEAD OR ALIVE tournament. He won a unanimous decision against Renta Nishioka in the semifinal, and faced Naoki Tanaka in the finals. Haraguchi knocked Tanaka out in the first round, with six seconds remaining in the round.[14]

Haraguchi was scheduled to fight the Glory featherweight champion Petpanomrung Kiatmuu9 at RISE El Dorado in February 2021.[15]
