Khorostkiv
Khorostkiv (Ukrainian: Хоростків, Polish: Chorostków) is a city in Ternopil Oblast, Ukraine. Population: 6,738 (2020 est.)[1]

History
In the Second Polish Republic, Khorostkiv, then known as Chorostków, belonged to the County of Kopczynce, Tarnopol Voivodeship. The town is the birthplace of Polish painter Jan Maszkowski (born 1793), and Jesuit theologist, translator and scholar Stanislaw Stys (born 1896).
City since 1977.[2]
