Kundalpur, Bihar
Kundalpur is a village in Nalanda district in the Indian state of Bihar.It is the birthplace of Gautam Swami, the chief disciple of Mahavira, the 24th and last Tirthankar in Jainism. There are beautiful temples dedicated to Mahavira, Rishabhdev and Gautam Swami located here along with many other ancient temples.

It is situated about 2.5 km from Ancient Nalanda Mahavihara and is very close to Ancient Sun Temple famed village of Bargaon. It is located about 11 km away from Bihar Sharif , the district headquarters and nearest City while Patna, the state capital is 80 km away.
