Ladislav Bubnar

Ladislav Bubnar (Czech: Ladislav Bubnár, Russian: Ладислав Бубнар; 13 July 1984, Košice, Czechoslovakia) is a Czech and Russian singer and musician. In 2017, he was a finalist of the Russian "The Voice" on Channel One.[1][2]

Biography

Ladislav Bubnar was born in Košice, Czechoslovakia. As a child, he was raised in orphanages in Slovakia.[3][4]

At the age of 18, Ladislav moved to Prague, where he entered the Prague Conservatory. He is Czech by nationality.

Musical career

Ladislav Bubnar took part in song competitions, in particular, he was a semi-finalist of the joint Czech-Slovak project "Superstar" and the winner of the "Pirogovsky dawn" competition.

In 2017, he took part in the international competition for young performers "New Wave", where he reached the semi-finals.[5] After participating in the competition, Ladislav moves to Russia.

In September–December 2017, Ladislav Bubnar participated in the sixth season of the television project "The Voice" on Channel One, reaching the final and taking third place.[6] During the blind auditions, Ladislav performed the song "Paganini Violin" from the repertoire of Karel Gott in Russian. The mentor of Ladislav Bubnar in the TV project was Pelageya.[7]

In 2018, Ladislav records a solo song "Sarah" in Italian and shoots a music video. Alexey Golubev directed the video for Bubnar's song. In the same year released the song "Weather-Sensitive" (Russian: "Метеозависимы") and "In the Heart" (Russian: "В сердце").[8]

In 2019, Ladislav Bubnar releases the singles "Goodbye" (Russian: "Прощай") and "Mama" (Russian: "Мама"). All of Ladislav's videos are directed by Alexey Golubev.[9][10]

In April 2020, the first solo concert of Ladislav Bubnar was planned at the State Kremlin Palace, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Russia.[11]

Musicals

In 2016, he performed vocals in the musical "The World In the Palm of Your Hand: Prague Dreams at Christmas-2” (Russian: “Мир на ладони: Пражские сны в Рождество-2") in Prague.[12]

In 2019, Ladislav Bubnar played in Alexey Golubev's musicals "Dracula. The Beginning" (Russian: "Дракула. Начало")[13] and "The Secret of the Enchanted Book" (Russian: "Тайна заколдованной книги").[14][15]
