Landhaura is a town and a nagar panchayat in Haridwar district in the Indian state of Uttarakhand.

Landhaura Riyasat

Landhaura state was a kingdom of north India, which was founded by a Hindu Gurjar Raja.

When the area came under British occupation in 1803, it was ruled by Gurjar king Ram Dayal Singh and "First Freedom Fighter" Vijay Singh Gurjar. Their present descendant Pranav Singh is a legislator for Khanpur constituency and a former cabinet-rank official in the State Government of Uttarakhand. Kranti movie is based on Landhaura Riyasat directed by Manoj Kumar . [1][2][3]

As of 2011 India census,[5] Landhaura had a population of 28786. Males constitute 54% of the population and females 46%.
