Lindswell Kwok

Kwok took up wushu in 1999, following her brother Iwan. She won silver medal in Junior National Competition 2005 and gold medal in the following year. She later competed in the first World Junior Wushu Championships (WJWC) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and won bronze medal in taijijian.[4]

She represented North Sumatra in 2008 National Games and won silver medal. Also in 2008, she represented Indonesia in World Junior Wushu Championships in Bali where she won gold medal in taijiquan.[5]

Between 2009 and 2018 she won nine medals at the world championships, including five gold medals. She also won a gold and a silver medal on taijiquan at the 2014 and 2018 Asian Games, respectively.

She retired from competitions after the 2018 Asian Games, citing knee injuries as her reason.[6][7]

For her achievements, Indonesian media dubbed her as "the queen of wushu".[8]

Her brother, Iwan Kwok, is one of Indonesian Wushu Association's official. She graduated from the University of North Sumatra.[9]

On 9 December 2018, in the absence of her family, she married her former wushu teammate Achmad Hulaefi.[10] She has converted to Islam in advance.[11] Their son, Achmad Zubayr, was born in January 2020.
