Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is a Pakistani sufi singer and musician, primarily of Qawwali, a devotional music of the Muslim Sufis. He has won many Lux Style Awards, UK Asian Music Awards, ARY Film Awards and Hum Awards. On 26 June 2019 Rahat was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Music by the University of Oxford.[1][2][3] He also won Wembley Arena Award in 2019.[4] Rahat has won 4 Lux Style Awards, 4 UK Asian Music awards, nominated for 4 times in Filmfare Awards, 4 times in IIFA Awards and 4 nominations in Mirchi Music Awards.
