List of concerts at the American Airlines Center

Since its opening in 2001, the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas has hosted many local, regional and international artists, spanning a wide range of musical genres. A list of notable concerts are given in the table below, arranged in a chronological order.

The first concert at the American Airlines Center, which was also the arena's first event, was by the Eagles on July 28, 2001, about a week after it opened. With ten performances, the Eagles have performed more times than any other artist at the arena, producing the highest concert grosses for the venue with over 125,000 tickets sold.[1]

  3. Linkin Park's A Thousand Suns World Tour was initially scheduled for February 17, 2011, but was postponed to March 3, 2011 after the band's lead singer, Chester Bennington, fell ill.[128]
  4. Rihanna's Loud Tour on July 8, 2011 was cut short after a fire that broke out halfway through the show caused an evacuation at the arena. The show was never rescheduled.[131]
  5. Rihanna's Diamonds World Tour was initially scheduled for April 16, 2013, but was postponed to November 11 due to an illness.[165]
  6. Paul McCartney's Out There concert was initially scheduled for June 16, 2014, but was postponed to October 13 due to an illness.[180]
  7. The score data for Fleetwood Mac's On with the Show is combined from the shows on December 14, 2014 and March 4, 2015.[183]
  8. Chris Brown and Trey Songz's Between the Sheets Tour was initially scheduled for February 11, 2015, but was postponed to March 11 in order for Brown to settle legal issues.[188]
  9. Phantogram was scheduled to perform as the opening act for Muse's Drones World Tour on December 2, 2015. However, due to "technical logistic problems" that delayed the show, Phantogram was forced to cancel their performance.[200]
  10. Rihanna's Anti World Tour was initially scheduled for March 6, 2016, but was postponed to May 13 due to unspecified "production delays".[207]
