List of concerts at the Wells Fargo Center (Philadelphia)

Since its opening in 1996 as the CoreStates Center, the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania has hosted many local, regional and international artists, spanning a wide range of musical genres. The arena has a concert attendance capacity of 21,000 seated and at least 21,499 standing. A list of notable concerts are given in the table below, arranged in a chronological order.

Hanging from the rafters of the Wells Fargo Center are three banners in the orange and black colors of the Philadelphia Flyers honoring Pearl Jam's 10, Billy Joel's 48 and Bruce Springsteen's 53 Philadelphia sellouts respectively.

Annual/regular concerts

Since 2011, the iHeartMedia-owned radio station WIOQ ("Q102") hosts the Jingle Ball concerts at the Wells Fargo Center every early-to-mid December.

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra plays regularly at the arena, usually during mid-December as part of their winter tours.

Notes

  1. Gloria Estefan's Evolution World Tour was initially scheduled for September 13, 1996, but was postponed to February 7 and 8, 1997 due to illness.
  2. The score data for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band's Reunion Tour includes the show on September 24, 1999 at the First Union Spectrum.
  3. Guns N' Roses was scheduled to perform for their Chinese Democracy Tour on December 6, 2002, but never appeared. Only the opening acts, CKY and Mix Master Mike, performed. This caused a riot in the arena filled with about 15,000 people. In 2012, lead singer Axl Rose cited illness as the reason for the cancellation.[86]
  4. David Bowie's A Reality Tour was initially scheduled for December 10, 2003, but was postponed to March 29, 2004 due to influenza.[112]
  5. There were multiple shows on this date.
  6. The score data for James Taylor and Carole King's Troubadour Reunion Tour is combined from the shows on June 10 and 22.[217]
  7. Drake's Would You Like a Tour? was initially scheduled for October 19, 2013, but was rescheduled to December 18 due to "technical troubles".[312]
  8. Lady Gaga's ArtRave: The Artpop Ball was initially scheduled for May 12, 2014. However, it was switched with the original date of her show at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C., May 15, when it was discovered that the Verizon Center had already been booked for a potential Game 6 of the Indiana PacersWashington Wizards playoff series.[328]
  9. Miley Cyrus' Bangerz Tour was initially scheduled for April 22, 2014, but was initially moved back a day earlier on April 21 due to the 2014 Stanley Cup playoffs. However, it was later postponed to August 2 as Cyrus was recovering from a severe allergic reaction.[333]
