Olivier Giroud is a French professional footballer who has been representing the France national football team as a forward since his debut in 2011. He scored his first international goal in a friendly against Germany on 29 February 2012.[1] Since then, he has become the second top scorer in the history of the France national team, with a tally of 44 goals in 105 matches.

Giroud's only hat-trick with France came in a friendly against Paraguay on 2 June 2017.[2] In all his time with the national team, he has recorded a total of eight braces (two goals in a match), not including the hat-trick.
