Lodha
Lodha may refer to Hindu or Jain surname, caste, tribe or community which have different origin and class.
- Lodha people, are a tribal people living primarily in the Indian states of West Bengal and Odisha, mostly in the Paschim Medinipur district. A section of the Lodha has converted to Islam, and form a distinct community of Lodha Muslims.[1][2]
- Lodhi, of northern and central India are also known as Lodh and Mahalodh, while there is also a Muslim clan named Lodi.[3]
- Oswal, also known as Oswal Lodha, belongs to Jain religion.[4]
