Love Power (Dionne Warwick song)

"Love Power" is a 1987 song written by Burt Bacharach and Carole Bayer Sager and performed by Dionne Warwick and Jeffrey Osborne. The single was included on Warwick's album, Reservations for Two, and was her sixth No. 1 hit on the Adult Contemporary chart. The track reached No. 11 on the Cash Box Top 100 and No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100. It was her final appearance in the 'Top 40' of the U.S. Pop Singles chart.[1]

"Love Power" was Osborne's only Number One Adult Contemporary hit (although he had previously reached No. 2 on that chart), and it would be Osborne's last appearance in the Top 40 of the U.S. Pop Singles chart as well, since "She's On the Left" (his only number-one R&B hit) would only reach #48 on that same chart the following year.
