Malana, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Malana is an important and hisrorical village in the south East side about 12 k.m away from D.I.Khan city. It is affiliated with Tehsil Paroa. It is divided into two localities Pakka Malana and Kacha Malana. Pakka Malana is main and civilized village of Union council Malana. It is union council of Dera Ismail Khan District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan.[1] It is located at 31°44'32N 70°51'50E and has an altitude of 135 metres (446 feet).[2] Many times this town is mistaken for another city, Malana in India, but these two places are distinct from each other. .Sect of all the people is Deoband Hanfi.Malana is the combination of many clans. In Pakka Malana Chauhan clan is the famous , gentle and educated family. Ghulam Hassan chauhan J.V teacher is the important person of this family.
