María Nela Prada
María Nela Prada Tejada (born 1980) is a Bolivian diplomat and politician serving as the Minister of the Presidency since 9 November 2020 during the government of Luis Arce.[1][2]

Biography
María Nela Prada was born in 1980 in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Her father was Ramón Prada Vacadiez, a politician closely linked to the Nationalist Democratic Action (ADN) party who became prefect of the Santa Cruz Department from 1997 to 1999. Her mother was Betty Tejada, a Movement for Socialism (MAS-IPSP) Deputy who held the position of President of the Chamber of Deputies in 2014.[3] Her father was the nephew of Yolanda Prada, who was the wife of President Hugo Banzer.[3]
Minister of the Presidency (2020–preset)
On 9 November 2020, María Nela was appointed Minister of the Presidency by President Luis Arce, becoming the first woman to hold the position.[1] When it was announced on 4 January 2021 that Rogelio Mayta had contracted COVID-19, Prada took office as acting Foreign Minister until Mayta's return on 28 January.[4]
