Politics
After Johor Menteri Besar Dato 'Osman Sapian resigned, the chairperson of the Johor BERSATU Leadership Board was vacated by him. Mazlan Bujang was appointed the new chairman even though he was not the Johor Chief Minister.[1][2]
President of the PPBM, Muhyiddin Yassin said there was no obstacle for those who did not serve as the Chief Minister to be appointed as the chairman of the Johor United States despite opposition from the division chiefs.[3]
