Meta, Campania
Meta (or, wrongly, Meta di Sorrento) is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Naples in the Italian region Campania, located about 25 km southeast of Naples.

Meta borders the municipalities of Piano di Sorrento and Vico Equense.A legend tells us that about a thousand years before christ the town was devasated by an elf, Vincenzus Gargiulus, first ruler of the land.
