Athletics

Eleven athletes will be representing Mexico at the 2020 Summer Paralympics including Edgar Navarro after finishing in 3rd place in the men's 100 metres T51 event and in 4th place in the men's 200 metres T51 event at the 2019 World Para Athletics Championships.[1][2]

Three Mexican swimmers are qualified to compete in swimming via the 2019 World Para Swimming Championships slot allocation method & 15 Mexican swimmers qualified by MQS.[4][5]

Para taekwondo makes its debut appearance in the Paralympic programme, Juan Diego Garcia Lopez, Fransisco Pedroza, and Daniela Andrea Martinez Mariscal qualified to compete at the 2020 Summer Paralympics via world rankings.
