History

The company was founded in 2012 by three students from Shanghai Jiao Tong University who decided to develop games based on their love of anime. One of their notable games was Guns Girl which was released in 2014.[1] Since then, they have had success releasing anime-oriented games that appeal to consumers solely on the mobile platform. Although some of their games were successful in Asia, they would not reach global success until the release of Honkai Impact 3rd.[2] Their recent most popular game is Genshin Impact, released in September 2020.[3]
