Mithai (TV series)

Mithai is an Indian Bengali television series, premiered on 4 January 2021. It broadcasting on Bengali General Entertainment Channel Zee Bangla and is also available on the digital platform ZEE5, even before TV telecast.[1] It stars Soumitrisha Kundu and Adrit Roy.[2][3]

Synopsis

A young bubbly woman Mithai, makes her way into the lives and hearts of a big family of traders of sweets. Soon, she meets their business-minded son, Siddhartha, and sparks fly between them.[4]

Critics

Times of India quoted the series that "Mithai will tell you a sweet love story".[5]

Ratings

Mithai became the most watched television series in Bengal. On its opening week 2021, it gave a stiff competition to all other Bengali series and bagged the fourth spot with 10 million impressions on the TRP charts.[6] In week 3, it garnered 4.82 million impressions occupying fifth position.[7]
