Mohit Malhotra
Mohit Malhotra is an Indian actor. He is known for his participation in television show Splitsvilla 2 and portrayal of Kartik Sharma in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain and Sid in Sasural Genda Phool. In 2020, Mohit started his production house 'Roots Entertainment' and music label 'Roots Music.' [2]

Career
Malhotra started his career with MTV's Splitsvilla 2 and appeared in Mitwa Phool Kamal Ke as Birju.
In 2010, he appeared in Sasural Genda Phool as Sid. In 2011, he was cast in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain as Kartik Sharma.[3] In 2012, Malhotra played Vihaan in Kya Hua Tera Vaada and Ayaz in Gumrah: End of Innocence.
In 2013, he hosted India's Dancing Superstar. He was also a part of Bindass' Mentals.[4] In 2014, he played Mahesh in anthology series Yeh Hai Aashiqui.[5] Next, he portrayed Zubair Qureshi in Colors TV's Beintehaa.[6]
In 2015, Malhotra played Yash Mehra in Zee TV's Jamai Raja.[7] In 2017, he portrayed Abhishek Awasthi in &TV's Chupke Chupke.[8] In 2018, he was seen as Shivam in &TV's anthology horror series Laal Ishq.[9]
From 2018 to 2019, he portrayed Akarsh Chaudhary in &TV's Daayan.[10][11] In 2020, he made his film debut in Vikram Bhatt's psychological thriller Hacked, opposite of his another TV co-star Hina Khan.[12][13] As of August 2020, He has joined the cast of Fifth season of Television series Naagin (2015 TV series) alongside his Co-star Hina Khan.
