Reviews

  • Nora Aunor’s fiery emotional labor in Muling Umawit ang Puso mines the lurid and lasting legacies of social transformation in the life of a former singing diva who returns to an industry wracked by corruption. The changes in her life nourish the mental resources through which she participates in changing her society and her being woman and artist. - Patrick D. Flores, 6th Circle Citations, Young Critics Circle
  • But you cannot fault Nora’s acting in the movie dahil bumalik dito ’yung husay niya sa classic movies na gaya ng Ina Ka ng Anak Mo at Tatlong Taong Walang Diyos… It’s a star vehicle for her and she carries it through with all the charisma and expertise of a first-rate actress. - Mario E. Bautista, “Bumalik ang Galing ni Nora sa Pag-arte,” Freehand
