Nara Matore
Nara Matore is not a single village. These are two separate villages. Matore is located 64 km far from Islamabad toward east and Nara 70 km.

Nara is located in District Rawalpindi, Tehsil kahuta and province Punjab, Pakistan which is 74 km far from capital towards east. It is known with the name of Nara Mator. The population of Nara is approximately 5000 people.

It is center of five union councils. It is commercial area to its suburbs. Government has constructed a separate school for girls and for boys here. In 2014 the boy school building at Nara Chowk was reconstructed. Nara possesses a library, post office and many commercial center within itself.Mostly villages are touch to Nara in which, Khateel Hoon, Bahgoon, Barsala, Baryah, Kalyah, Khalol, Byor, Jnatal, Lehri, Salgran, Band, Bahrothi, Nori Morah and some other village are belong to Nara city for their daily requirements.
History
According to the elder nara was city ruled by sikhs before independence of Pakistan and the last remaining building named lakhi chobara might be a proof of that. Lakhi Chobara belonged to Chaudhri Lakhmi Das Johar, who moved to Jagadhri and Ambala after the partition. His brother was Ravel Chand Johar, whose house was rented by the local post office nearby. Ravel Chand moved to Kanpur after partition, where he retired as the Postmaster. The descendants of the family continue to live in New Delhi. Pre partition Muslims, Hindu and Sikhs all lived a harmonious life in the village.

Culture
The majority of people in the Nara Matore region are Muslims. Caste is still considered important there, which is the principal reason that Nara Matore has remained impoverished.

The basic source of transportation within the village are via taxis and personal bike while the settlers have to choose a public transport for going outside the village.

Matore
Matore is a village, surrounded by hills, in the heart of Kahuta Tehsil a subdivision of Rawalpindi District, in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It is located at 33°32′N 73°29′E and has an altitude of 778 metres (2555 feet), very famous people have hailed from matore which include the likes of Raja Zafar ul haq, General Tikka khan, General zaheer ul islam and the world boxing champion Amir khan[2] Want to be mpa pp2 Raja sagheer Ahmed who belongs from Matore haveli rajgan, cousin of LT.gen late Ahmed Jamal khan and LT.gen Ahmed kamal khan.
There are also descendants of Baba Noor and Baba Waris who left Matore in the 1940s & 50s for greener pastures overseas and have made incredible academic achievements from some of the prestigious universities in the UK and associated with high profile establishments in Switzerland, France, UK, Hong Kong and the US in the field of medicine, law, engineering, energy renewables, information technology, forensic psychology, economics, education and entrepreneurship.
