Ojos azules (song)

Ojos azules, originally known as "Ojos bonitos" (Pretty Eyes), is a traditional Peruvian huayno from Cuzco.[1] In 1947, the Bolivian composer Gilberto Rojas Enriquez slightly altered the lyrics and registered the song as "Ojos azules" (Blue Eyes). The Peruvian composer Manuel Casazola Huancco was also erroneously attributed as the author of the song. The song remains popular in the repertoire of Andean music groups from Bolivia, Peru, Chile, and Argentina.

no llores ni te enamores.

Llorarás cuando me vaya,

cuando remedio ya no haya.

Tú me juraste quererme,

quererme toda la vida.

No pasaron dos, tres días,
