Olena Stetskiv

Olena Stetskiv (born 15 June 1994 in Lviv) is a Ukrainian luger. She participated at 2014 and 2018 Winter Olympics.

Career

Olena competed at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics in Innsbruck, Austria, where she was 9th. Next season she debuted in World Cup competitions.

Stetskiv competed at the 2014 Winter Olympics for Ukraine. In the Women's singles she placed 26th.[1][2]

As of January 2018, Stetskiv's best Luge World Cup finish is 20th in 2015–16 in Lake Placid, United States, and 20th in 2016–17 in Whistler, Canada.[3]

She will represent Ukraine at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.[4] She finished 28th in women's singles.

Personal life

Olena graduated from Lviv State University of Physical Culture. Her hobbies are music and football.
