Omaha Township is one of ten townships in Gallatin County, Illinois. As of the 2010 census, its population was 499 and it contained 226 housing units.[2]

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 18.62 square miles (48.2 km2), of which 18.56 square miles (48.1 km2) (or 99.68%) is land and 0.05 square miles (0.13 km2) (or 0.27%) is water.[2]
