Osaka Korean High School
Osaka Korean High School (大阪朝鮮高級学校, Osaka Chōsen Kōkyū Gakkō, Korean: 오사까조선고급학교) is a North Korea-aligned Korean international senior high school in Higashiosaka, Japan. The government of Osaka Prefecture classifies the school as a "miscellaneous school".[1]

In July 2017, Judge Takahiro Nishida of the Osaka District Court ordered the government to include the School in its tuition waver program, determining that previous exclusions of the School were unlawful.[2]

The Osaka District Court ordered the government on Friday to reverse its decision to exclude a pro-Pyongyang Korean school from its tuition-free program for high schools. The government’s decision to omit Osaka Korean School in Higashiosaka from its tuition waiver program is unlawful, presiding Judge Takahiro Nishida said in the ruling.
