Geographic range

The snake is found in the South American countries of Bolivia, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru, northern Uruguay, and some central and central eastern parts of Brazil.[1] It has the common name of Rio Tropical Racer. It is monotypic in the genus Palusophis.
