Rayya is a city and a Municipality Cop. in Amritsar district in the Indian state of Punjab. Rayya is about 35 km from Amritsar and 45 km from Jalandhar. It is 5 km from the Beas River.

Rayya is a eminent town as it connects about nearly 200+ villages to the national highway 1 and a major study hub for the students of the nearby villages. It comes under baba bakala constituency that is mainly led by the Shiromani Akali Dal Party. Parties like Indian National Congress Party, have also been in power but not as frequently as the Shiromani Akali Dal.
