Rule of Ren and Xuan
The Reign of Ren and Xuan (Chinese: 仁宣之治; pinyin: Rén Xuān Zhī Zhì) (1424-1435) refers to the reigns of the Hongxi Emperor (r. 1424-25) and Xuande Emperor (r. 1425-35), which was considered the height of the Ming dynasty's golden age. After the Xuande Emperor's death, the dynasty began to gradually decline.
