SV Werder Bremen in European football
Werder Bremen have participated in UEFA competitions on many occasions. They have won the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup in 1992[1][2] and the UEFA Intertoto Cup in 1998.[2] They were runners-up in the final UEFA Cup in 2008–09[2] before it was rebranded as the UEFA Europa League.[3]
