Sadwal

Sadwal Brahminah/ سدوال براہمنان is a village which is situated about 30 kilometres (19 mi) from Tehsil Headquarter Kharian in Pakistan and 3 km from Thutha Rai Bahadur and is one of the oldest villages of Teh: Kharian. Its full name is Sadwal Brahminah as a well known caste of Brahmin lived there before 1947. There are more than 1200 votes in Sadwal, round about 350 houses and 3000 peoples. There are two big villages around Sadwal one is Goteriala in north and other is Thutha Rai Bahadur (capital of Union council). Thare are three big mosques in Sadwal Jmia masjid, Gazi masjid, Masjide Rehmat. Sadwal have a shaheed of Pak army named as Mr Aslam S/O Rehmet. Gulnawaz is also a shaheed of Sadwàl. Both brothers ch Sadiq (Late) and ch Fazal Hussain are famous for serving in pak army. Ch Sadiq fought 65 and 71 wars. The majority of the people are agriculturist and lookafter the animals. Many people of Sadwal work in Gulf Countries, Saudi Arabia, and Europe. There is a single combined primary school for girls and boys till december 2020. SADWAL people have many casts like Jutt, Malik, Gujjar, Warraich, Nai, Mochi etc. Sadwal's peoples are very loving and caring but they are not rich. The great personalties of Sadwal are Allah Ditta Lambardar(Late), subinspector (retired) Chaudhar Bashir (Late) and Rehmat (Late). In youth the prominent personalities are Ikram(Mphil Physics) working as senior teacher in Kharian, Must Imran MPhil Chemistry senior teacher in Govt High School Malka, M. Ikram XEN in Wapda, Malik Tanvir CEO Longman school systems. Master Orangzaib is a well renowned personality of Sadwal famous due to social character. Few peoples named as Ch Rabanawaz, Ch Manzoor, Malik Shahbaz, malik Qamar, and malik Shareef are famous for politically active personalities at councillor level.

Inhabitants of Sadwal speak Punjabi. Urdu is also spoken by educated people.
