Savogna

Savogna (Slovene: Sovodnje (locally Sauodnja); Friulian: Savogne) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Udine in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 60 kilometres (37 mi) northwest of Trieste and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) northeast of Udine, on the border with Slovenia.

As of 31 December 2011, it had a population of 490 and an area of 22.1 square kilometres (8.5 sq mi).[3] According to the census 1971 77.2% of the population are Slovenes.

Savogna borders the following municipalities: Kobarid (Slovenia), Grimacco, Pulfero, San Leonardo, San Pietro al Natisone.
