Select Group
The Select Group is a panel of English professional football referees and assistant referees, appointed by Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL).
Select Group 1
The Select Group was established in 2001, when referees in England became professional.[1] Select Group 1 (SG1) primarily officiate in the Premier League, but can be appointed to any game in the English Football League. The group currently consists of 19 referees and 35 assistant referees.

Nine referees and eleven assistant referees are also on the FIFA International List.[2]
- Attwell, Bankes, Coote, Kavanagh, Madley, Oliver, Pawson, Taylor, and Tierney, serve as international referees.
- Bennett, Beswick, Betts, Burt, Cook, Davies, Hatzidakis, Hussin, Lennard, Massey-Ellis, and Nunn, serve as international assistant referees.
- Attwell, Betts, Kavanagh, Massey, Pawson, and Tierney also serve as international video match officials.
