Sun NXT
Sun NXT is an Indian video on demand service run by Sun TV Network. It was launched in June 2017 with content in four languages - Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam [3][4] and later in 2019 after Sun TV Network launch's first GEC in West Bengal Bengali was added, Marathi - coming soon(Expected in the year 2021).Sun NXT app is available for Android and iOS devices, Smart TVs and other devices.

History
The service was launched in June 2017. Within four days of its launch, the app had obtained 1.1 million downloads.[3] By November it was about seven million.[5] In August 2019, Sun TV Network planned to invest ₹150 crore in the platform over 18 months.[6][7] In February 2020, the platform's subscriber base grew to about 15 million users and started making profit.[7] However, it had expected 20 million subscribers by the end of 2019.[8].Sun NXT is available free on Vodafone Play, Jio Platforms, Airtel Xstream., V! movies & tv.
Content
At the time of launch the platform had over 4000 movies, allowed live streaming of over 40 television channels and catch-up TV in four languages.[9][3] Content available apart from TV and movies are news, comedy clips, originals and music.[10] As of February 2020, it had 390 shows and 4087 movies.[11]
In January 2019, Sun TV Network partnered with Vodafone Idea to make Sun NXT accessible in their Vodafone Play and Idea Movies and TV apps.[12] In December 2019, Jio partnered with Sun NXT to host all the movies available on Sun NXT platform in their JioCinema service.[13]
There are three subscription plans offered for its users on monthly, quarterly and annual basis.[4][14] Sun NXT's monthly plan costs 75% lesser than Netflix's cheapest plan.[11]
