Susan Lontine

Susan Lontine is a Democratic member of the Colorado House of Representatives. She represents District 1, which includes parts of Denver and Jefferson counties. She was first elected to her seat in 2014.

Lontine grew up in Florida and attended the University of Central Florida before moving to Denver in 1996. She served as a Democratic district captain in District 1 and as an aide to Jeanne Labuda and Irene Aguilar before her election to the House.[1]

Lontine is vice chair of the House State Affairs, Veterans, and Military Affairs Committee and also serves on the House Health, Insurance, and Environment Committee, the Capitol Building Advisory Committee, House Public Health Care & Human Services Committee and the Legislative Council.[2]

Elections

Lontine was elected to the House of Representatives in 2014, winning 55.1% of the vote against Republican Raymond Garcia. She was reelected in 2016, winning 61.04% of the vote against the same opponent.[3]
